Summer Foot Soak

All you need for this foot soak is 3 items... SO EASY!

Combine the following:
1/2 Cup Vinegar (I used Apple Cider cause its all I had, but distilled works the same)
1/2 Cup Listerine
1 Cup hot water

You could put this all in a bowl and soak, or be like me and do it in your bathroom sink. All the while you sit as close to the mirror as you can while plucking your eyebrows (don't lie, I know you all do this). Its called multitasking :)

Just combine it all together and soak your feet for about 15 minutes. Rise your feet and towel dry. Your dead skin just falls off and your left with soft summer feet.

Happy Wednesday!

  2. I tried it and it definitely made my feet softer! My problem was it loosened all the dead skin on my feet but even after towel drying, my dead skin was still on my feet (just a lot softer) so I had to use my fingernails to scrape it off (totally gross!! and sorry for tmi).

  3. This totally works... I do it once per week with amazing results. DO NOT use blue Listerine. Use the original Listerine or store brand. The dead dry skin on your feet will absorb the blue or any other color Listerine.

  4. It totally does work. You can use a foot sanding block to sand your feet after to get rid of the dead skin. In no time at all your feet will be smooth and healthy.
I use the amber color Wal-Mart brand knockoff Listerine.

  7. Excellent recipe. I go barefoot most of the time (and live in Perth, Western Australia - one of the driest places!) my feet are truly disgusting and I simply cannot afford a professional pedicure. I tried this recipe, using supermarket brand mouth wash, and I cannot believe the difference. Thus recipe is truly amazing and really worked for me. Thanks so much. :-)

  8. I used 2 cups Listerine (orange) 2 cups vinegar (I only had brown to hand) and 1 litre of medium hot water. These amounts will give a full foot soak. The warmer water will allow you to leave your feet to soak for a good 30 minutes. I used a Champneys foot file to remove the hard skin, which was much easier than usual. I followed up with Cantu shea butter moisturiser - frankincense/myrrh.

I too walk barefoot a lot and after this "treatment" I am amazed how soft my feet feel. The difference is incredible, even the next day. My feet are a different animal.

I will be using this recipe again and again and again. So simple and very effective.

    Thank you.

  9. Ok, I soak my feet in water and use a professional pedicure file at home I bought from Amazon. I am going to try this to see how much of a difference it is. I will take any help I can get. I have rough feet. I love walking barefoot and in flip flops. I'm a Texas girl. I have to remove significant excess skin every month. Miracle cure Yes Please!!!
